I’m thrilled to introduce you to the Notas Bello Foundation. This is a new nonprofit that was established in early 2020. Our foundation provides private air travel for qualifying, disabled veterans who are limited in traditional travel methods due to mental or physical injuries connected to their service to our country. This hurdle prevents many of our veteran's to go without specialty care that’s offered by the VA, Community care programs, and VA Specialty hospitals.  Our intention is to offer assisted living veteran's special (Thank You Flight) service to ensure our veterans connect with family members they have not seen for years due to medical and or monetary challenges.

We are a new 501c3 and are in compliance with the State of New Jersey. We have our Duns# 117668789 and we are seeking private, state, and federal grant funding as we launch our mission; “Warriors in Flight”. This mission is personal to me and my family. As the co-founder of this organization, alongside my retired, combat disabled Green Beret husband, Michael we have experienced firsthand the difficulties in receiving proper treatments due to travel hurdles. When Michael retired in 2011 out of Ft. Bragg, NC after serving 25 years of US Army Special Forces service he was 100% disabled. Navigating medical treatment and helping him get to special appointments outside our service area was hard. For the last nine years, I have had a fire in me to help our wounded veteran community who also experience these travel challenges and stand up for an organization that would meet this crucial need in our community.

Of course, who knew that we would be in a worldwide pandemic? Even with Covid, Notas Bello Foundation is moving right along. We have enlisted a great Board of Directors, volunteers from the medical community to assist with flights, and a great airline to work with for air service. This is where we need you! With your investment today, we can begin funding support to our retired veterans who are needing our help. Your donation is tax-deductible and will directly support Airmiles as we work to reach our goal of $150,000. Every dollar counts!
